Yesterday, he delivered an apology (sent by paper airplane over the fence to Gaza) for his role in the Israeli army when he was a young soldier there. It was that experience that led to his leaving Israel for the U.S. He will be in some dangerous zones during his ten-day tour, but he is committed to report on what he sees and what he hears from people in the region. Of course, the threat from an expanded war is front and center with both Lebanon and Iran in the picture now.
